SITDEF
SITDEF , El Salón Internacional de Tecnología para la Defensa y Prevención de Desastres es organizado por el Ministerio de Defensa del Perú y las Fuerzas Armadas. Desde su primera edición en 2007, SITDEF SITDEF, the International Defense Technology and Disaster Prevention Exhibition, is organized by the Peruvian Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces. Since its first edition in 2007, SITDEF has established itself as one of the most important events in the region for defense and security technology.
SITDEF actualmente se ubica dentro del Circuito Mundial de Ferias y es la segunda feria más importante de la región por su SITDEF is currently part of the World Trade Fair Circuit and is the second most important trade fair in the region for its outstanding exhibition in Latin America, dedicated to the modernization of the Armed Forces and National Police, showcasing advances in security, technology, and disaster prevention since its inception. It brings together important leading companies in the fields of defense and security, as well as key institutions such as the Navy, Air Force, Army, National Police, and National Civil Defense Institute, promoting cooperation and the adoption of advanced technologies. SITDEF is consolidating its position as a crucial meeting place for experts, officials, and industry leaders.

Visitors can explore and experiment with cutting-edge defense and security technologies, including surveillance systems, armored vehicles, artificial intelligence applied to citizen security, and solutions for natural disaster prevention. In addition, a demonstration of the latest defense and security innovations will be presented, with the world's leading companies exhibiting their next-generation weapons, air defense systems, armored vehicles, aircraft, and crew equipment.
Likewise, in the areas of risk management, natural disasters, and citizen security, technological solutions for emergency prevention, surveillance, and response will be presented. In this space, exhibitors such as INDECI and the National Center for Disaster Risk Assessment, Prevention, and Reduction (CENEPRED) play a key role, showcasing strategies and tools to improve the country's response capacity to natural disasters and humanitarian crises.
Highlights of the SITDEF Fair
Attendees were able to learn about the latest advances in cutting-edge vehicles and weapons, solutions for natural disaster prevention, early warning systems for oceanographic catastrophes, artificial intelligence applied to citizen security, and new anti-drone defense systems.

About SITDEF 2025
The 10th SITDEF Perú 2025 event showcased security, defense, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence technologies, and also promoted the modernization of law enforcement in the country. Additionally, a series of conferences focused on cybersecurity and artificial intelligence were offered, with speakers from leading global companies in the field, such as Google, Cisco, and Amazon Web Services.
From Peru, the Peruvian Navy, the Peruvian Air Force, the Peruvian Army, the Peruvian National Police, as well as the National Institute of Civil Defense, the Peruvian Army Weapons and Ammunition Factory (FAME), the Industrial Services of the Navy (SIMA), and the Peruvian Maintenance Service (SEMAN) participated.
