Sitdef 2025: Protection against cyberattacks, drones, and artificial intelligence for security

El X SITDEF Perú 2025 It was an event that served to showcase security, defense, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence technologies, and also to promote the modernization of law enforcement in the country. Additionally, a series of conferences focused on cybersecurity and artificial intelligence were offered, with speakers from leading global companies in the field, such as Google, Cisco, and Amazon Web Services.
From Peru, the Peruvian Navy, the Peruvian Air Force, the Peruvian Army, the Peruvian National Police, as well as the National Institute of Civil Defense, the Peruvian Army Weapons and Ammunition Factory (FAME), the Industrial Services of the Navy (SIMA), and the Peruvian Maintenance Service (SEMAN) participated.

Where was it held?
The fair was held until April 27 at the “Army Headquarters” located in the district of San Borja.
The first two days were reserved for specialists and exhibitors, while the general public had free admission on Saturday the 26th and Sunday the 27th, where they could enjoy the fair and the exhibitions of the Armed Forces Special Forces, the National Police, and the Fire Department with their families.
What did the attendees learn?
Attendees learned about new state-of-the-art vehicles and weapons used in various countries around the world. They also learned about new technologies for disaster risk prevention in Peru and new early warning systems for potential natural oceanographic disasters and artificial intelligence for citizen security. New anti-drone defense systems were also demonstrated.
